Day 2 of our session with Ginger’s girls was fun We set up in her garage believe it or not (as my studio is still being built with our house) and had ourselves a quick studio session

Aren’t these girls just adorable?

Ginger did a fabulous job picking out their outfits! I love some bright colors and textures!

I was so excited for this session yesterday. The other day driving somewhere I caught this gorgeous field with a corner of my eye. It was covered by yellow flowers and it was just so dreamy that I had to do a session there.

Luckily my girl Ginger, who by the way is absolutely gorge, had the guts to go and knock on the owners door and I was ecstatic, when she called to tell me we had a permission to shoot there!

Her beautiful girls weren’t as thrilled to be caught in the deep grass, but we got some cute shots after all

Next time I go there I hope to bring a senior student for their senior photos, because the spots in this field *including an old school bus* are endless!!!

OK, I cant contain myself… I can’t stop editing these pictures!!!

These kiddos are just stunning and their fabulous relationship and personality took over our session the other night.

I am so excited about these and I’m sure I will add more, but for now, here is at least few from our super fun session in Garner North Carolina.

I would like to share these beautiful boys, that I had the pleasure photographing in New Jersey this past Eeater.

They were wonderful, lively and beautiful!

I had my hands full trying to keep up, but at the end I think we walked away with some keepers

Spring has arrived in beautiful North Carolina and with it did all sorts of little surprises.

We are currently renting a house in the middle of nowhere in Four Oaks NC and our back yard literally is the woods! I guess with that comes all sorts of wild life

I dont mind the beautiful tree frogs and little lizzards, but I am just praying that snakes aren’t on the list next.

I think I would not live that one down!

I am hoping that our new house will be started in April and we can be in it by this summer.

Sooooo excited and READY for us to live near civilization

Where does the time go?

I can NOT believe that my little dude will turn 5 years old in less then a week!

Today I was rewarded by his 5 minute picture taking mood, or is it that he comprehends the meaning of bribery much better these days?

Either way, it does not matter as I walked away with handful of cute pictures of my beautiful son .

On another note… This new backdrop came in the mail today, had to give it a test run… I can not wait for our house to be built and my studio with it! It will be awesome to be able to offer my clients studio sessions as well!

Beautiful 82 F today in North Carolina!!! Love being here

I know, I know…
I have been more than just slacking on my blog, but I do have a good excuse!
Aside of being crazy busy over the holidays, we sold our house and are closing this friday!
Right after that we are hitting the road and saying goodbye to our good old NJ and are heading down to Garner, NC.

I have exciting news!
We will be building a house and guess what?! I will have a studio space added on!
Sooooooo, drum roll please
Yes, Mirka Photography will finally be available to also offer in studio sessions!

I will be doing some cool things and specials as I need to build up a brand new clientele!
I am super excited for new beginnings and meeting all of the new families and kiddos

This year was so awesome, all the babies in our family our now walking and the older kiddos are finally in the point where they actually really enjoy playing together…. omg it makes it sooo much easier on us parents lol…
